Insurance Information
Isn't insurance a total pain? So many of our clients have high deductible plans or large co-pays or co-insurance (how do you even keep track of it all?). Because of this racket, and because of the fact that insurance companies often don't pay for services in the areas of couples counseling and sex therapy, we are a self-pay provider.
Luckily, this allows you greater control of your care. Together with your therapist's input, you control your treatment, frequency and number of sessions. Without the use of insurance, you ensure the utmost level of privacy and confidentiality as we are not required to give you a mental health diagnosis or submit your private health information to your insurance company.
You may be eligible for flex spending or health saving accounts. Please contact your HSA or HRA provider in advance of your first session to determine your eligibility and the rate for reimbursement. You may also be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to determine possible reimbursement prior to your first session.
Cancelation Policy
We require a minimum of a 24 hour notice to cancel scheduled appointments. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment or if you provide less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full rate of service.
